Bhubaneswar, May 9 (IANS) The rate of local infections in Odisha is alarming.  In the state, a coroner is infecting two people he came in contact with.  The state's local infection rate (RO value) is the third highest in the state.  By the evening of May 26, the number of patients in the state is estimated to be 713, according to the Delhi IIT.

IIT Delhi is adopting the AICSER ​​model to measure local infection rates or RO values ​​in different states of the country.  According to the model, the AO value of Odisha was 1.9 on May 7.  A corona-positive person infects about two people.  As of May 4, the total number of positives in the state was 140.  The number has risen to 275 on the 9th and 270 on the 9th.  The number will reach 613 by May 28, according to the Delhi IIT report.


 In April, Odisha had an AO value of 1.1.  At this point, a positive corona was infecting only one person.  But now the rate of infection has doubled.  The rate of local infections in Odisha is alarming.  Odisha also has higher ARO values ​​than Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Madhya Pradesh in terms of the number of coronary cases.


 Bihar and Jharkhand have higher AR values ​​than Odisha.  Bihar has the highest value in the country at 2.45 and Jharkhand at 2.13.  The country's Covid Capital has a value of Rs 1.8 in Maharashtra, 1.6 in Gujarat, 0.8 in Delhi, 0.75 in Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh.
